This sterling silver Paisley Leaf pendant necklace features Sheila’s contemporary paisley design in polished silver relief, hanging elegantly from a silver wheat chain. The paisley design is hand-enamelled in our Orkney workshop in Verdi enamel.

Sheila’s Paisley collection is a contemporary reinterpretation of the original, intricate paisley pattern that originated in ancient Persia. These designs became popular in the West in the 18th and 19th centuries and were used extensively in clothing and textiles made in Paisley, Scotland. As a result of its popularity, the design became known as the Paisley Pattern.
